Well, we reckon it deserves a little more love. So, we’ve been cooking up something new.

Lighter bites just landed at the Smokehouse! Say hello to lunch at Hickory’s.

Inspired by the laid-back lunch spots, neighbourhood joints & BBQ shacks we’ve discovered on our road trips across the Southern States, our new lunch menu is all about good food without the big feast.

Perfect for a catch-up with friends, a lunchtime date, a quick pit stop or even a business lunch that’s a whole lot more exciting than sandwiches around a meeting room table.

Great value lunchin' every day 'till 4pm. Basically… your lunchtime's just got a whole lot more interesting.

Bring on the BBQ

Now, you didn’t really think we’d do a Hickory’s lunch menu without BBQ, did you?

Our Big Pig Bap brings 14-hour smoked pulled pork, Kansas BBQ sauce, French’s mustard, pickled red onions & crispy shallots together in one very happy bun.

In need of a burger fix? Go classic with our Hickory’s Single Burger, or switch things up with our Southern Fried Single Chicken Burger - both stacked high with all the good stuff.

Of course, we couldn't not include the star of the show. Our Smoked Tennessee Brisket Sub is packed with slow-smoked beef brisket, roasted peppers & onions, gooey cheese & creamy pepper sauce, with a pot of Tennessee gravy on the side.

And then there’s The Hickory’s Hot Dog. Our smoked pork, jalapeño & gooey cheese sausage tucked into a brioche-style sub roll, finished with Kansas-style BBQ sauce & American mustard.

Proper low ’n’ slow goodness, packed into a toasted sub. Now that’s a lunch...sorted!

 

Lighter Lunchin’

We know not every lunchtime calls for a three-course feast.

Sometimes you’ve only got an hour. Others you’ve got a whole afternoon. Then there's the days you just fancy getting out of the office & ordering something tasty. That’s exactly what our new Hickory’s lunch menu is made for.

For something fresh & a little lighter, there’s our Hickory’s Baby Cobb Salad. Crisp lettuce, Kansas caviar (that’s black beans, sweetcorn, peppers & spring onion), blue cheese, soft-boiled egg, avocado, Cheddar & crispy shallots. Feeling a little more smokin’? Add Southern fried chicken.

Or, when you need something warming with a little Louisiana kick, there’s our Gumbo. A hot & spicy stew inspired by our trips to Louisiana, served with half a freshly baked baguette. Perfect for when the cold winter nights draw in.

And for those days when you want a little more… well, load it up.

Our loaded potatoes come with all the good stuff, from 14-hour Smoked Pulled Pork & BBQ Pit Beans to The Philly Shroom, piled with roast flat mushrooms, seared peppers & onions, mornay sauce, mozzarella & crispy onions.

Because “light lunch” doesn’t have to mean “boring lunch”.

Because what’s lunch without a little somethin’ to sip?

Our Georgia Sweet Teas are straight out of the Deep South, with refreshing flavours like Cherry Blizzard, Life’s A Peach & Pear Necessi-Tea.

Or, if you’re more in need of a caffeine fix than a sugar rush, our Cup of Joe comes with unlimited refills until 2pm! There’s also iced coffee, iced lattes & our salted maple cream cold foam for those who like their coffee a little cooler.

Lunch Dates, Business Meetings & Everything In Between

There’s no such thing as a standard lunch at Hickory’s.

It could be catching up with your mates after far too long. A lunch date that turns into “shall we get another drink?”. Or getting the team out of the office for a business lunch where nobody has to stare at a sad sandwich while pretending to listen to a presentation.

It’s the perfect excuse to get together, slow things down & enjoy some proper food to fuel the rest of your day.
