We're thrilled to be open Preston - the area has been on our "wish-list" for some time & so we're thrilled to have found the perfect spot.

Find us in Hutton on Liverpool Road (former Anchor Inn) – only 5 miles from the centre of Preston.

We take inspiration from the places we have been to, with lots of quirky touches & southern inspired design ideas to create a place for everyone to enjoy. The whole family has been thought of at Hickory’s Hutton. With a range of seating from cosy booths to party tables for groups to enjoy, plus our Chef’s Bar - quite possibly the best seat in the house.

As for the food, you know what to expect...authentic southern style barbecue including hand-pulled pork, fall-off-the-bone ribs & juicy brisket, all smoked 'low and slow' for up to 16 hours. And, of course epic burgers, steaks, subs along with vegetarian & vegan dishes! Just make sure you leave room for dessert. Don't forget our Kids Menu too, packed with the right balance of treats, healthy options & fun.

You are welcome to join us just for drinks in the bar. We have an extensive spirits collection - we’re pretty proud of our Bourbons - we have over 25 to try that we’ve sipped, drank and collected from our road trips. From easy drinking session ales (like our Hickory’s Pale Ale that’s brewed exclusively for us) and our cask ales, to our selection of bottles and canned craft beers - there really is a beer for everyone.

Our passionate bar teams are all a little bit crazy about cocktails! Our impressive drinks list is bursting with interesting mixes and classic combos all designed to pay a nod to our southern roots.

Inspired by a trip to South Carolina we have a sheltered veranda for drinking and dining outside. In the Southern States the veranda or porch is not just a place, it’s a state of mind. Designed as an extension of the home, it’s traditionally a place where the best conversations happen and where relaxation is a must.

 

Our younger guests haven't been forgotten either, with kids packs and regular special events there's plenty to keep them occupied. And of course it wouldn’t be Hickory’s without the cinema room that they can come & go as they please. We'll be showing all the latest movies & lots of family favourites.

Our kids menu is packed with dishes & drinks for smaller appetites, from the classic mac ' n' cheese, to burgers & popcorn chicken to smaller versions of our milkshakes, all created with a team of Mums, Dads & kids.
