Cash for Kids Day 2026 is coming… and you’re invited to be part of it.

At Hickory’s, we’ve always believed in playing our part for our local communities. We are proud to be official supporters of Cash for Kids and through our partnership we’ve already raised an incredible £742,838 & now, we’re on a mission to hit £1 million.

We want Cash for Kids Day 2026 to be our biggest moment yet.

 

What Is Cash for Kids Day?

Cash for Kids Day is the charity’s biggest fundraising day of the year - a nationwide moment where communities across the UK come together to make a real difference for children who need it most.

Every penny raised supports the Cash for Kids General Grants Programme, helping provide, food & clothing, essential equipment & support, safe spaces & community projects and opportunities for children to learn, play & thrive.

This is about giving children brighter futures and it starts with all of us.

 

Introducing: The World’s Biggest Music Quiz

This year, Cash for Kids Day is turning into something truly unforgettable. They're teaming up with Bauer Media and PopMaster, the UK’s most loved music quiz, to bring you: The World’s Biggest Music Quiz.

A live, nationwide quiz happening all at the same time hosted across every Bauer Audio brand where thousands of players competing together. All in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record!

The current record stands at 15,225 players… and together, we’re going to smash it.

With £5 entry per person, you’ll not only be part of a record-breaking moment, but you’ll also be helping change lives, be in for the chance to win some amazing prizes (we’ve heard there might be a car or even a holiday up for grabs) & have a fun time doing it.

In some of our restaurants we’ll be hosting special Cash for Kids Quiz Nights, giving you the chance to take part, soak up the atmosphere & enjoy a great night for an even greater cause.

All quizzes will begin at 7PM & require a £5pp entry fee with all proceedings going directly to Cash for Kids.

Every single entry makes a huge difference. It could help provide warm clothing, a safe place to go, essential equipment, or simply the chance for a child to feel included & supported.

For many families, this support is life-changing and by taking part, you’re not just joining a quiz - you’re becoming part of something much bigger.

 

Last Year We Went Big… But This Year We’re Going Even Bigger

In 2025, over £1 million was raised in a single day, supporting more than 180,000 children across the UK.

We “walked to Texas” (not quite literally, but we covered every step!) taking on an epic challenge, walking the distance from Hickory’s to Texas in just one day.

1 million steps, 21 restaurants, 10 hours.

So naturally… we’re making it our mission to help Cash for Kids to top it.

Behind the scenes, our teams will also be taking part in the live quiz during the day - joining thousands across the country in this huge shared moment.

Because when it comes to supporting our communities… we go all in.
