This August, we're bringing the ultimate Sunday vibe with Summer Sundays... a different family-friendly event every week. And, of course we'll still be servin' up that delicious slow-smoked BBQ, we all know and love. Whether you're a Thornton local or visiting the area for the weekend, gather your favourite people & make Sundays the highlight of your summer.

What's On

Sunday 2nd August - Paint, Plant & Grow

Get creative in the garden with our Paint, Plant & Grow activity. Little green-fingered legends can decorate their very own pot and plant some seeds to take home & watch grow. Plus, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a hands-on activity while creating a special summer keepsake. (£3 charge, with all proceeds going to C4K’s.)

Sunday 9th August - Live Music

Sit back, relax & soak up the sounds of the South with live music at Hickory’s. Meanwhile, enjoy a delicious brunch or some smokehouse favourites, refreshing drinks & plenty of Southern hospitality while you make the most of your Sunday.

Sunday 16th August - Meet the Emergency Services 

Get up close with the heroes of our community and discover more about the amazing work they do. Alongside the fun, it’s a brilliant way for little ones to learn, explore & meet some real-life local legends.

Sunday 23rd August - Makers Market 

Browse a selection of unique handmade goodies and discover something special at our Makers Market. Whether you’re looking for a gift, a treat for yourself or simply want to support local businesses, there’ll be plenty to explore.

Sunday 30th August - Glass Painting Workshop 

Finish off our Summer Sundays in style with a creative glass painting workshop. Design your very own wine glass and create a unique piece to take home. Best of all, it’s a fun way to round off an unforgettable summer. (£3 charge, with all proceeds going to C4K’s.)
