Thanks to all the folk who joined us for another year of Christmas magic! From gifting finds & seasonal treats to smokin' bbq and festive sips - we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

There’s nothing quite like a Hickory’s Christmas! The lights were twinklin’, the candy canes were hung, and our team are ready to spread some Southern hospitality, with a whole lot of festive cheer at our Mini Christmas Markets at Hickory’s Smokehouse Rhos-on-Sea!

Step into the Festive Spirit at Hickory’s Rhos-on-Sea

This year, we spread the Christmas magic with our very own Hickory’s Christmas Mini Markets! We’ve invited some incredible local makers, crafters, and small businesses to set up shop in our Garden.

From handmade gifts and festive decorations to unique treats and crafts. It’s was the perfect place to find something special for loved ones this Christmas while supporting local talent.

Friends and families popped down for a browse. Whilst some enjoyed a full festive feast and others just stopped by for a glass of Eggnog and a wander, our team had a great time welcoming you in!

Festive Feasts & BBQ Classics

Guests soaked up the festive market vibes while we loaded up the smokers. Our pitmasters were serving up Hickory’s festive favourites alongside our signature BBQ classics.

This year’s specials included our Smoked Turkey Burger - with cranberry relish, topped with a pig in blanket! And when it was time for something sweet, the Gingerbread Fro-Co, brought Christmas in every spoonful!

Our menu is still packed with our BBQ classics! Try Memphis Ribs, Texas Brisket, or the ultimate Smokehouse Platter, smoked low ‘n’ slow. From burgers & steaks to gumbos, macs, fajitas, and veggie delights, there’s comfort for every craving.

And of course, no festive feast is complete without a mug of our homemade Eggnog… rich, creamy, and guaranteed to warm your spirits.

From the first sip to the last toast, we had your festive drinks covered. In particular, our Holiday Shake stole the show this year, piled high with chocolate coins, a candy cane swirl, and topped with a mini gingerbread man. The VIK’s enjoyed our gingerbread versions whilst the big kids alike can indulge in our Eggnog sensation.

For the grown-ups, our festive twists on our classic Hickory’s drinks, like the Snow-ito or South Pole Sling, each mixed with plenty of Christmas cheer.

So, whether guests were there to shop, sip, feast, or simply soak up the festivities, our Christmas Markets were the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

The team couldn’t wait to welcome everyone in. We made that Christmas one to remember, Southern style!
