Brunch at Hickory’s Chester

Brunch has got to be the most fun & certainly the most sociable meal of the day. No-one does it better than the Southern States & on our road trips we've learnt that the folks in the Southern States in particular make it a real event.

Here in Chester, brunch at Hickory’s is the perfect way to start off your day out. Before a wander around the historic city walls, mooching through the Rows, or a spot of shopping in the city centre. Whether you’re fuelling up before a day of exploring or winding down after a morning stroll, brunch Southern style hits just right.

Our River Room is the prime spot to watch the boats drift by along the river, whatever the season. It’s one of Chester’s best places for a laid-back brunch, especially after a stroll along the riverbanks or a loop of the historic city walls.

When the sun’s shinin', head out to our outdoor veranda... a favourite for summer brunching, riverside people-watching & relaxed catch-ups. It’s also dog-friendly, so four-legged friends are more than welcome to join you while you brunch. As the seasons change, we keep things cosy. With blankets and heaters on hand, you can still soak up those river views through the winter months.

All Things Smokin' Favourites

Our Hickory's Muffins, fluffy Homemade Pancakes, HoneyBird Cinna-Bun & Chicken Fried Waffle are brunch feast staples!  Along with the Hot Honey Pork Burnt Ends Waffle, a loaded sweet, sticky & savoury waffle. Topped with our pork belly burnt ends, hot honey & mac ’n’ cheese.

If you're a fan of all things smokehouse the epic Pitmaster Stack muffin is calling your name. Inspired by the Deep South, where pork & egg is on every brunch menu. The Hog & The Hen has been reworked with a muffin, a tribute to early mornings in Texas... just how they should be!

We serve our brunch menu every day until 2pm, so whether you’re popping in midweek or making a weekend of it after browsing the shops, there’s always time to brunch.

Brunch drinkin'...

As you tuck into our smokehouse classics, all that’s left to do is wash it down. Think bottomless cups of Joe, or one of our iced coffees if you like things a little cooler.

More of a tea drinker? We’ve got you covered with our iced teas, including Cherry Blizzard and Waked ‘N’ Baked, a blend of baked apple, caramel, sweet tea, lemon juice & apple juice.

To complete the brunchin' line-up, it wouldn't be a Hickory's brunch without a Bloody Mary. Our own tomato spice mix & vodka, topped with a taste of the smokehouse; maple bacon, savoury popcorn & celery... exactly as it should be done!

We're open from 10am & serve our brunch menu every day until 2pm.
