To all our guests, our neighbours, the good people of West Kirby & beyond; thank you for supporting us for the past 10 years. And what a 10 years we've had! But it is now time for an update as your Hickory's West Kirby is having a refresh.

We’ve smoked countless briskets, rubbed an untold amount of ribs & shook up more cocktails than we can remember. And, we’re now getting ready to make some changes to the restaurant & bar.

Whether you’re a Hickory’s West Kirby regular, haven’t been for awhile or are still to try us out let us tell you a bit about the place...

We take our inspiration from the places we’ve been to, with lots of quirky touches and Southern inspired design ideas, to create a place for everyone to enjoy. The whole family has been thought of at Hickory’s West Kirby – there’s a range of seating from cosy booths to larger tables for groups and extended families to enjoy.

The Chef's Bar...

Be sure to check out the Chef’s Bar where you’ll get to watch the chefs in action- quite possibly the best seat in the house. It's the place to watch the Chefs in action - they're a friendly bunch & up for a chat. They might even lift the lid on a few pitmaster secrets. Best of all you'll have a view of our slow smoked Texas style Brisket & have all our hot sauces (many collected on a road trip) at hand to try. If all this talk of Brisket is making you hungry check out the menu...

The Veranda...

Our veranda has been a firm favourite for many years, when the sun’s shining there’s nothing better than taking the roof off . As we can’t promise you Texas temperatures all year round we’re going to make this space even more inviting. With new flooring & furniture it will be comfortable & cosy even when the sun’s not shining.

The Bar...

For drinkers & sports fans we’ve got you covered... With additional seating & better views of the TVs in the bar for the weekly fixes of NFL & football & all the big sporting events. You're welcome to join us or drinks in bar at any time. There's plenty of space if you just want to enjoy a pint of Hickory’s Pale Ale or some cocktail sippin’.

The Terrace & Garden...

Inspired by a trip to South Carolina our terrace for dining & drinking is the perfect spot for catching up with friends and the secret garden has our signature booths for dining – your own heated, private space.

Younger guests are in for a treat...

Our VIK's really are our most important guests! We keep them entertained with table-top fun, regular special events and of course their very own cinema room that they can come and go as they please.

Our kid’s menu has been specially created with a team of mums, dads and kids (including our neighbours from St Bridgets) so it contains just the right balance of treats, healthy options and fun. The menu is packed with dishes and drinks for smaller appetites. From pancake stacks& the classic mac ‘n’ cheese to burgers and popcorn chicken bites. There are also smaller versions of all the shakes.

No visit to Hickory's is complete without a trip to our Fro-Co creation station. Designed to showcase the one & only frozen custard (that’s Fro-Co in Hickory’s talk).
