If you've visited Hickory's before, you'll know we’re all about family-friendly dining and a great bar experience. Hickory's Cannock  is no different! With a complete refurbishment both inside & out, there is something for everyone to enjoy! 

Whether you’re with family, friends, or colleagues, we have the perfect setup just for you. Imagine everything from cozy booths at the chefs bar to lively tables throughout the restaurant. We even have our very own veranda & secluded garden for outdoor dining & drinking! Creating a laid-back vibe you’ll love as we look forward to the warmer months.

Younger guests are in for a treat too...

Our kid’s menu has been specially created with a team of mums, dads & kids so it contains just the right balance of treats, healthy options & fun. The menu is packed with dishes & drinks for smaller appetites, from pancake stacks & the classic mac ‘n’ cheese to burgers and popcorn chicken bites. There are also smaller versions of all the shakes.

No visit to Hickory's is complete without a trip to our Fro-Co creation station. Designed to showcase the one & only frozen custard (that’s Fro-Co in Hickory’s talk).

At Hickory's Smokehouse Cannock you'll be able to sit back & relax, as we'll keep the kids entertained. From table-top fun to regular special events, including our incredible character brunches. Let them take a bag of popcorn to their very own movie room, enjoy a film and come & go as they please whilst they wait for their food.

Inspired by the outdoor lifestyle in the Southern States, we’ve created a secluded garden with plenty of tables for dining & drinking outdoors. We also have a safe & secure outside play area for kids. So, it really is the perfect place for the whole family, all year round. So, you can enjoy your local Smokehouse in Cannock, perfect for every occasion - whatever the weather has in store!

 

Experience Authentic Southern BBQ...

Authenticity is key for us & the smokers have arrived! Our Southern Pride smokers take pride of place in the heart of the restaurant. They are the best of the best in the BBQ world - shipped straight from Tennessee & Missouri. Inspired by the places we've visited & the people we meet, we've learnt from the best in the business.

Outside you'll see a sign that reads “Open 8 Days A Week." We were inspired by the guys at Black's Barbecue in Lockhart, Texas, by their passion for Southern hospitality & their love for smokin’ BBQ. So along with ideas & inspiration we brought home this phrase. Our smokers never stop and if we could eat BBQ & welcome guests 8 days a week we would!

Our Pitmasters are the real deal. They're the heart of what we do, lovingly smokin' to create those prestige smoke rings & that fall of the bone meat. At Hickory's we say, "Not all heroes wear capes; some wear aprons" & these BBQ heroes are here to make sure you leave wanting more!

Smokehouse Classics...

Get ready to indulge in smokehouse classics like tender Memphis Ribs, authentic Texas-Style Brisket &  Chicken Wings - all slow-smoked in house! For the non-smokers we've got you covered too. With dishes such as the 3AM Mac 'n' Cheese, the sweet & savoury Chicken Fried Waffle & the Bird & Beast Burger, there's something for everyone.

Our appetisers & desserts aren’t one to skip out on, so make sure you leave room! From Bacon Bites & Southern Fried Chicken in a Basket to the Alabama Fudge Cake & Churros the perfect feast awaits. 

The guys in the Southern States love brunchin' too - they make a real event of it. From mugs of bottomless coffee & homemade Pan Cakes to Steak & Eggs and the indulgent HoneyBird Cinnabun - we're servin' up brunch every day until 2pm.  

 

Take A Seat At The Bar...

You're just as welcome to join us for drinks in the bar as you are for a BBQ feast. We've sipped our way across the Deep South & brought back so many ideas. If you're a fan of bourbon check out our collection. We've over 25 and our bar team can mix you up an Old Fashioned any time of day. With easy-drinking session ales, including our exclusive Hickory's Pale Ale and a selection of bottles & canned craft beers, there really is a beer for everyone.

 

Our drinks list is bursting with interesting mixes & classic combos that are all designed to pay a nod to our Southern roots. Be sure to try one of our signature cocktails.  Go for the Game Changer, a twist on the Hurricane, a real fruity & tropical drink. Check out the Cotton Candy. Gin & Cointreau shaken with lemon juice & poured over candy floss. Or try a frozen Miami Vice - slushies for grown-ups. 

And don't forget to check our our homemade soda's - the Grape Soda is something special, even if we say so ourselves. In fact we've even had it canned for you to take home.  And a trip to Hickory's wouldn't be complete without a Freakshake.
